Wedding Dress chosen by groom?

According to a recent article in Huffington Post, 1 in 5 grooms choose their bride's wedding dress. This was a surprise to us @SOHO, and got us thinking.... what do others think about the groom selecting the wedding dress. Signature Cocktails for your Wedding

With the weather finally warming up here on the Gulf Coast, we are getting excited to see all the great wedding ideas for 2014. We are fortunate to have such great local wedding vendors always pushing the envelope from Fairhope, Al to Orange Beach, Al. In this post we are going to focus on wedding cocktails and creating signature drinks for your event.

Although the mint julep is the southern cocktail, we believe that the mojito should be the southern wedding cocktail. A delicious hand crafted mojito that uses fresh limes and mint is truly hard to top, light, sweet, sour, and refreshing.

Here's the recipe for this delicious cocktail that you can share with your bartender to get the southern wedding cocktail for those warm nights on the Gulf Coast.

Mojito
about 6 mint leaves
3/4 oz Simple Syrup (one part water, one part sugar)
3/4 oz Fresh lime juice
1.5 oz White Rum
1.5 oz Club Soda

In a boston shaker, lightly muddle the mint. Add the lime juice, simple syrup, and rum and fill with ice. Shake well and pour into a mason jar. Top with club soda, garnish with mint sprig.
