We are letting you in on a little-known secret about South Alabama: We are more than the Bay and the Gulf…we are also home to breathtakingly beautiful horse farms. That’s right…farms in Point Clear, ya’ll!
A canopy of live oaks over small, two-lane roads carves a path through these farms, leading to the site of the Point Clear Polo Club. Graced by a warm, clear October day, the Club was adorned with rows high-peak tents, each sponsored and decorated by various corporations, organizations, and individuals, each a proud contributor to one of South Alabama’s most prestigious fund-raising events, Polo at the Point.
We at SOHO Events & Rentals were honored to partner with the Grand Hotel Marriott, one of Polo’s largest sponsors, for their infamous tent. The Theme: Farm to Table. Our Role: Help their theme come to life!

We do thousands of events each year and a large percentage of our events are held at the beach each year. This is not surprising since the gulf coast beaches are some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world.
Almost every week we have a wedding on the beach, most beach wedding ceremonies are in the sand, and then a few are indoors. We setup beach wedding ceremonies at the public beach, at private beach houses for weddings, and also at condos in Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Pensacola, and Destin.
Our typical beach wedding rentals include a bamboo arbor for the wedding ceremony, white padded folding chairs. A few additional items that we see rented often include wedding arbor with drapery, a white column for a sand ceremony, and aisle runners We also have available for wedding rentals a custom draped arbor with full white fabric, chiavari chairs, white benches, natural wood benches, tents for rent and chandeliers.
Once the ceremony has completed, and you've exchanged vows, its time to head to the reception. The wedding reception is the time to have fun and celebrate, it is also a time to bring show some personality with your wedding rentals. Whether you're into farmhouse rental, vintage rental, modern, shabby chic, or any particular theme, we have a well stocked inventory, and if we don't have we do everything we can to find it.

One of our favorite locations to visit is the South Walton area, from Destin, Fl down to the 30A locales of Watercolor, Seaside, Seagrove Beach, etc. There are so many timeless beautiful venues along this stretch with the beautiful beaches and perfect water.

The Venue Fairhope Al - Rentals for Corporate Event

One of our corporate clients called and said they were doing an event in Fairhope, Al and had selected The Venue to host their dinner party. After discussing the event we decided that we wanted a few themes present from a design perspective - elegant, fun, corporate colors, and a kid friendly area. McKenzie Street Florist located in Foley, Al designed beautiful centerpieces for this event using stunning red orchids. The red centerpieces really helped give some contrast to the gray throughout the room and coordinated well with the red linen and SOHO overlays.
