4th of July Tablescape

Here in South Alabama things are beginning to open back up and we are all looking forward to safely spending time with our family and friends for the upcoming 4th of July Holiday. In the spirit of celebration, we have put together a fun 4th of July backyard BBQ tablescape!

We started our design with a beautiful farm table with coordinating crossback chairs, bringing in texture and warmth to our tablescape. We chose a traditional red, white and blue color scheme for our linens, playing off the 4th of July theme. We love the combination of our red and white check napkin with a royal polyester runner!

Keeping it simple and classic, we decided to pair our white square dinner and salad plates with our copper flatware. Next up, glassware! Glassware is important when completing your place setting! Think about what beverages will be served: water, wine, beer or cocktails? The collins glass is very versatile. It can be used as a water/ tea glass or even for mixed drinks! The bordeaux wine glass is a beautiful option when serving wine and our smoke beaded glass is a fun option for your mixed drink or cocktail!

Next, the finishing touches! You may have small decor items around your home to incorporate with your rental items! We chose a few votives, small American flags and a flag banner to tie everything together. You likely have similar elements that could complete your tablescape. Another fun and functional idea is to take galvanized buckets and add some sand and sparklers. This is supper fun for the kids and adults, too!

Our goal is to provide quality product and exceptional customer service to our clients. We have the pleasure of working with some of the top vendors in the industry as well as corporate clients across the Southeast. We have the BEST clients and we are so thankful for each and every one of them!

Our inventory serves a multitude of different styles, from simple to luxurious and ornate. This also allows our team the ability to be flexible and work with numerous events with varying timelines. Meet the team - Missi!

Meet Missi!! She is part of our fabulous linen department that takes great care of our sequin linens, velvet linen, majestic linen, napkins etc!!  Missi is originally from Philadephia, PA (#flyeaglesfly #superbowlchanmps) but moved to Fairhope many years ago. She said her favorite food is sandwiches (but we know, candy has a special place in her heart also :) 

Missi said the best phrase to describer is "Awesome Sauce", her #1 goal in life is to put my children through college.  To her Southern Hospitality is being nice and her favorite part about working at SOHO is the "awesome silly coworkers".

Meet the team - Sean!

Say hi to Sean! Sean joined the SOHO team in 2014 and began setting up chairs and installing tents right away. He is from Fairhope, Al and loves to eat sushi. When he is not setting up wedding rentals he competes in mountain biking races with his competition team. 

We asked Sean to describe himself in one word and he said "Adventurous". His goal in life is to "Live the best life I can" and always displays Southern Hospitality by exuding  good, kind, and caring vibes.

Sean's said his favorite part of working at SOHO is "the people I work with everyday".  Having worked at SOHO Events and Rentals for 4 years, Sean installed all of our tents, chairs, and tables, but in the end his personal favorite is the wood dance floor or the black and white dance floor.
