Hi y’all and welcome back to the blog! Today we are discussing rentals. Particularly, what you can expect during your rental process with SOHO! When you first begin the process of planning your event, you might not know where to start, that's why we are here. So, let's dive in!

Here at SOHO, there are a few key pieces of information we would like to gather about your event before we move into choosing rental items. Those pieces are date of your event, venue for your event, guest count, budget, and the design style or feel you are going for. These details help us work up the most accurate quote for you. If you don't have every detail locked down, that is okay!

The date of your event will be the first thing we need to know so we can check our availability. Then we will need to know the estimated guest count so we know the quantities of items you will need. Your venue is another important factor because it will affect the rentals you will need as well as parameters we need to follow. For example, if your event is inside a ballroom, we may start with tables, chairs, and linens. If your event is outside, we will start with larger items like tents!

Once we have a grasp on the logistics of your event, we can begin selecting items that fit the design and feel of your event. We offer in person consultations or we can send product photos and inspiration boards. This is the part where we can get creative with your style as well. We love to think outside of the box and bring in some elements that will wow your guest!

 We love to start with larger elements and work our way down to smaller more detailed elements of your event. Consider your tents, dance floors, bars, and tables as larger items. We will coordinate these items first and then move on to pull smaller items, including chairs, linen, china, glassware, flatware, etc. Don't forget that we can also customize some of our items with logos, duograms, or other elements to give your event a totally unique feel!

Once you have made your initial selections, we will work up a quote based on that information. We can tweak these quotes as necessary to work with your budget and style. We will also work with your planner and vendors to coordinate any logistics to ensure a successful event!
