Teardown day can be sad: (

We are so blessed each day that we get to work with all the great wedding planners, photographers, bakeries, venues, etc. Everyday we come to work and get to help bring a vision or inspiration together and it is very satisfying when you see that smile of approval or the text or email after the event.

The one part of doing wedding rentals in Daphne (or in Gulf Shores like the above photo) that is bittersweet is teardown day. You work to get everything pulled together and looking great and them you come pull everything down and return it to it's original form.

Slip and Slide at Steelwood Country Club

Steelwood Country Club is known for their beautiful weddings and championship golf, but did you know that they also rent bounce houses and slip and slides for the kids for special events. Located in Loxley, Al or central Baldwin County, Steelwood is a secluded lakefront club that provides a stunning backdrop for weddings and events. The Steelwood Chapel is quaint, quiet and oh so beautiful, this is definitely a venue that you want to look into having your wedding.

Website Redesign

In our continuing effort to offer the top wedding rentals in mobile, al we have decided to remake our website and give it a cleaner look, and hopefully easier navigation for our guests. We are also focusing on our SOHO Blog and are in the middle of making this page more interactive with various feeds and widgets, to hopefully showcase the various rentals for events that we have done. Although we are located in Daphne, Al, one question we continually get is "do you deliver and/or setup wedding rentals in Mobile" - ABSOLUTELY! (p.s. we also deliver wedding rentals in pensacola:) In the coming weeks we will post some photos of a wedding that we are doing at the Mobile Museum of Art.

Waterville USA party at home?

This weekend our double slip and slide was providing hours of fun for a birthday party in Bay Minette. When we arrived to pick it up the boy told us how much fun his birthday party was and all his friends had so much fun. YEAH! Finally as we were thanking the parents for choosing us amongst all the competition and the dad said they actually were planning on going to Waterville USA, but it was cheaper and closer (@home) for them to call SOHO and have the party at their house.
